A new official trailer for Chucky has been released. The upcoming TV series picks up after the events of 2017’s Cult of Chucky. Let’s take a look.
This actually looks really good. I think an increased budget will do Chucky wonders, and if Ash vs. The Evil Dead taught us anything it’s that television isn’t a bad avenue to explore for established horror franchises.
Chucky stars Brad Dourif, Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Björgvin Arnarson, Fiona Dourif, Alex Vincent, Jennifer Tilly, and Christine Elise McCarthy.
Plot Synopsis:
After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
Chucky premieres October 12, 2021 on USA and Syfy.
