Michael B. Jordan in Creed

Michael B. Jordan is getting that Creed Universe after all.

Per VarietyPrime Video has ordered the drama series Delphi, which is set in the gym featured in the Creed film franchise. Exact plot details are under wraps, but the show is said to follow young boxers who train at the gym. In the film series, the Delphi Gym is operated by Tony “Little Duke” Evers Jr., the son of Apollo Creed’s longtime trainer Tony “Duke” Evers. Wood Harris portrayed Little Duke in all three of the Creed films.

The announcement was made during Amazon’s upfronts presentation on Monday night and comes over two years after the company and Jordan first expressed interest in expanding the Creed franchise beyond focusing on just Adonis Creed. Marco Ramirez will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the series. Jordan will executive produce under his Outlier Society banner along with Liz Raposo.
