MGM has released an official trailer for Creed III, the ninth installment in the Rocky franchise. Let’s take a look.
Michael B. Jordan versus Jonathan Majors, let’s go! I need to get caught up on the Rocky franchise because this looks like it’s going to be a phenomenal film.
In addition to Jordan and Majors, Creed III stars Tessa Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, Wood Harris, and Florian Munteanu, who reprise their roles from previous films as Bianca Taylor, Mary Anne Creed, Tony “Little Duke” Evers and Viktor Drago, respectively.
Plot Synopsis:
After dominating the boxing world, Adonis Creed (Michael B. Jordan) has been thriving in both his career and family life. When a childhood friend and former boxing prodigy, Damian (Jonathan Majors), resurfaces after serving a long sentence in prison, he is eager to prove that he deserves his shot in the ring. The face off between former friends is more than just a fight. To settle the score, Adonis must put his future on the line to battle Damian – a fighter who has nothing to lose.
Directed by Michael B. Jordan (in his feature directorial debut), Creed III opens in theaters on March 3, 2023.
