‘Daniel Isn’t Real’ Or Is He?

Samuel Goldwyn Films has just released the new Daniel Isn’t Real trailer and in just one trailer it looks better than that Jacob’s Ladder remake.

The movie, directed by Adam Egypt Mortimer (Some Kind of HateHolidays) and produced by SpectreVision, the Elijah Wood co-founded company which brought us last year’s unforgettable cult flick Mandy is based on the book In This Way I Was Saved by the film’s co-writer Brian DeLeeuw. The movie has been a huge hit on the film festival circuit, and this trailer definitely proved it.

This shit looks intense and I bet it hasn’t even shown us the good parts yet.

Plot Synopsis:

Troubled college freshman Luke (Miles Robbins) suffers a violent family trauma and resurrects his childhood imaginary friend Daniel (Patrick Schwarzenegger) to help him cope. Charismatic and full of manic energy, Daniel helps Luke to achieve his dreams, before pushing him to the very edge of sanity and into a desperate struggle for control of his mind — and his soul.

Daniel Isn’t Real hits VOD platforms and theaters in a limited capacity and on December 6 2010. It will then release on Shudder at a later date.
