DC Studios’ ‘Clayface’ Casts Its Title Batman Villain

DC Studios has found its new Clayface.

Per DeadlineTom Rhys Harries has been cast as Clayface for the upcoming DC Universe movie, Clayface, which will be directed by Speak No Evil helmer James Watkins. He succeeds Alan Tudyk in the role, who voiced the character in the first season of Creature Commandos.

Harries reportedly beat out the following actors for the role: Jack O’Connell (28 Years Later), Tom Blyth (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), Leo Woodall (The White Lotus), and George MacKay (1917).

Moviegoers may recognize Harries from The ReturnKandahar, and The Gentleman, while Apple TV+ subscribers might remember him from Suspicion with Uma Thurman.

Clayface will be shooting at Warner Bros Leavesden studio in the United Kingdom. A September 11, 2026, release date has been set for the DCU movie.
