Edgar Wright has finally given Glen Powell some co-stars.

Per Deadline, five actors have boarded Wright’s reimagining of Stephen King‘s The Running Man ahead of its production start in November: Lee Pace (Guardians of the Galaxy), Josh Brolin (Dune: Part Two), Karl Glusman (The Bikeriders), Katy O’Brian (Love Lies Bleeding), and Daniel Ezra (All American). Powell is playing the lead role, while Brolin and Pace are playing the antagonists. Characters details for everyone else have not been shared yet.

Wright is directing The Running Man from a screenplay he co-wrote with Michael Bacall. The film is based on the 1982 King novel that the author published under his pseudonym Richard Bachman. It was previously adapted into a film in 1987 with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead.

Set in a dystopian America in the year 2025, The Running Man centers on Ben Richards, a desperate man who participates in a violent reality show called The Running Man in order to win enough money to revive his gravely ill daughter. The show follows Richards being chased by numerous hunters sent to kill him.

The Running Man is scheduled to be released in theaters by Paramount on November 21, 2025.
