Netflix has released an official trailer for Fair Play, an upcoming erotic thriller starring Phoebe Dynevor and Alden Ehrenreich. Let’s take a look.
Here’s the problem Netflix has created for itself. At first glance, this looks like one of those “filler” movies Netflix makes just to have new content on its streaming service. I didn’t expect much from this. However, the film is at 90% on Rotten Tomatoes, with the website calling it “reminiscent of the best ’90s nail-biting thrillers.” The film also premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, so I guess it’s actually good.
Netflix, make better films and then I can stop thinking this is some direct-to-video garbage. Thanks!
