‘Fargo’ Season 4 Trailer: It’s Chris Rock Against the Italian Mob

FX has released the official trailer for season four of Fargo. Let’s see if Chris Rock‘s dramatic chops are just as delicious as his funny bones.

I think the wait was worth it. Rock and Jason Schwartzman look like they will be bringing more of a comedic edge to Fargo this season. I’m certainly digging everything I’ve seen so far at least.

Fargo season 1 was hands down some of the finest dramatic television I watched last year. Season 2 was still good, but sort of a letdown. I skipped season 3, but dammit season 4 is bringing me back! Maybe it’s just the premise and/or the cast, but I’m interested in seeing how this story plays out.

Plot Synopsis:

The fourth installment of Fargo is set in 1950 Kansas City, where two criminal syndicates fighting for a piece of the American dream have struck an uneasy peace. Chris Rock stars as Loy Cannon, the head of the African American crime family who trades sons with the head of the Italian mafia as part of tenuous truce.

Fargo season 4 premieres April 19, 2020 on FX and FX on Hulu.

What do you guys think? Interested in seeing this at all?
