‘Fear Street’ Trailer: Netflix is Dropping a Whole Trilogy of Horror Films This July

Netflix has released an official trailer for Fear Street: A Film Trilogy Event. This July, the streaming service will release all three movies comprising its R-rated Fear Street Trilogy, based on R.L. Stine’s beloved book series of the same name.

Let’s take a look at the teaser.

Okay, I’ll bite. Netflix is clearly trying something new here with the release method. The trilogy is essentially just a three episode series with 90 minute runtimes. I’ll definitely tune in to see what’s up, but it won’t be in July. I’ll save these for October.

Plot Synopsis:

In 1994, a group of teenagers discovers that the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations may all be connected — and that they may be the next targets. Based on R.L. Stine’s best selling horror series, the trilogy follows the nightmare through Shadyside’s sinister history.

Fear Street Part 1: 1994 begins streaming July 2, 2021. Fear Street Part 2: 1978 will follow on July 9, 2021, and finally Fear Street Part 3: 1666 will drop on July 16, 2021.
