Disney has released an official teaser trailer for Freakier Friday, the long-awaited sequel to the 2003 body swap classic. Let’s take a look.
Freakier Friday stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Ryan Malgarini, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Stephen Tobolowsky, Lucille Soong, and Rosalind Chao, all of whom are reprising their respective roles from the original film. New additions to the cast include Julia Butters, Manny Jacinto, and Sophia Hammons, among others.
Plot Synopsis:
Freakier Friday picks up years after Tess and Anna endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.
Freakier Friday opens in theaters on August 8, 2025.
