Disney has released an official trailer for Freakier Friday, the long-awaited sequel to 2003’s Freaky Friday. Let’s take a look.
Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan, Rosalind Chao, Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Ryan Malgarini, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Stephen Tobolowsky, and Lucille Soong reprise their respective roles from the original film, with Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, and Vanessa Bayer joining the cast.
Plot Synopsis:
In Freakier Friday, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story picks up years after Tess and Anna endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.
Freakier Friday opens in theaters on August 8, 2025.
