‘Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio’ Trailer: People Are Sometimes Afraid of What They Don’t Know

Netflix has released a new official trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio. Let’s take a look.

This looks so much better than that dumpster fire Disney put out on its streaming service earlier this year. Always bet on del Toro because he will more often than not deliver the goods.

The all-star voice cast for Pinocchio includes Ewan McGregor as Cricket, David Bradley as Geppetto, and Gregory Mann as Pinocchio. The rest of the cast includes Finn Wolfhard, Cate Blanchett, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Tim Blake Nelson, Burn Gorman, Christoph Waltz, and Tilda Swinton.

Plot Synopsis:

Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Guillermo del Toro reinvents the classic tale of the wooden marionette who is magically brought to life in order to mend the heart of a grieving woodcarver named Geppetto. This whimsical, stop-motion film directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson follows the mischievous and disobedient adventures of Pinocchio in his pursuit of a place in the world.

Pinocchio is currently playing in select cinemas ahead of its Netflix streaming release on December 9, 2022.
