Sumerian Pictures has released an official trailer for Josephine. The upcoming thriller-drama film is written and directed by Beth de Araújo.

Josephine stars Channing Tatum, Gemma Chan, Mason Reeves, Philip Ettinger, and Syra McCarthy.

ScreenAge Wasteland’s own Bryan Loomis caught Josephine earlier this year at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Grand Jury Prize Dramatic and the Audience Award Dramatic. His review of the thriller-drama film can be read here.

Plot Synopsis:

Josephine follows the psychological fallout after eight-year-old Josephine (Reeves) witnesses a brutal crime in Golden Gate Park. As she acts out, her parents (Tatum and Chan) struggle with helping their daughter cope, while facing the moral responsibility of demanding justice in a world that’s lost its innocence.
