‘Jungle Cruise’ Trailer Brings to Life Popular Disneyland Attraction

Disney has released the first trailer for Jungle Cruise, starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.

The first three Pirates of the Caribbean films are some of the best action-filled adventures you can get your hands on from the early 2000s. It’s clear Disney is trying to tap into what made those films successful, and for the most part it looks like they’re succeeding. This looks like a really fun film bolstered by the charisma of Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt.

We’ve learned to never bet against Disney or Dwayne Johnson, so I’m sure this will be on plenty of lists in next year’s Summer Movie Wager.

Plot Synopsis:

Set during the early 20th century, a riverboat captain named Frank takes a scientist and her brother on a mission into a jungle to find the Tree of Life which is believed to possess healing powers. All the while, the trio must fight against dangerous wild animals and a competing German expedition.

Jungle Cruise hits theaters July 24, 2020.

What do you guys think? Will this film be able to replicate the success of the first Pirates of the Caribbean?
