Marvel Studios has released an official trailer for Loki. The series will follow an alternate version of Loki introduced in Avengers: Endgame.
Holy shit, this just jumped to the top of the list for MCU series I am most excited for!
Tom Hiddleston looks to be having a blast as Loki, and since this is a version that never went through the same character growth we witnessed from Thor: The Dark World to Endgame, he is essentially playing a whole new character.
Also, did you all catch that quick reference to Thor and Heimdall? Can we expect Chris Hemsworth and Idris Elba to make an appearance? I guess we’ll have to wait and see!
Plot Synopsis:
After stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame, Loki uses it to travel through time and alter human history and ends up trapped in his own crime thriller.
Loki begins streaming May 2021 on Disney+.
