Netflix has debuted the first clips from two of its upcoming movies: Spiderhead and The Gray Man. Let’s take a look at both.
Two inmates (Miles Teller & Jurnee Smollett) form a connection while grappling with their pasts in a state-of-the-art penitentiary run by a brilliant visionary (Chris Hemsworth) who experiments on his subjects with mind-altering drugs.
Spiderhead begins streaming on June 17, 2022.
THE GRAY MAN is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.
The Gray Man will open in limited theaters on July 15, 2022, before streaming on Netflix beginning July 22, 2022.
I’m looking forward to seeing both of these films. The casts for both films look phenomenal and the talent behind the camera is equally impressive. Dammit, Netflix, I guess I’m keeping my subscription for another couple of months.
What do you guys think? Interested in seeing either of these films?
