Netflix has released a new official trailer for Army of Thieves. The upcoming film serves as a prequel to Army of the Dead and focuses on Dieter (Matthias Schweighöfer) before the events of Dead. Let’s take a look.
I still haven’t seen Army of the Dead, so I don’t know what to make of this prequel. Usually, I love a good heist film. So, that means I’ll probably get around to watching these films eventually. At the very least, they look like fun watches.
Plot Synopsis:
In this prequel to Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead, small-town bank teller Dieter gets drawn into the adventure of a lifetime when a mysterious woman recruits him to join a crew of Interpol’s most wanted criminals, attempting to heist a sequence of legendary, impossible-to-crack safes across Europe.
Army of Thieves begins streaming October 29, 2021 on Netflix.
