‘Zack Snyder’s Justice League’ Trailer: 4 Hours of the Snyder Cut in 2021

Zack Snyder revealed the first official teaser for his cut of 2017’s Justice League. Titled Zack Snyder’s Justice League, the 4-hour long cut will hit HBO Max sometime in 2021.

For the most part I dug the rendition of “Hallelujah” playing in the background. Also, I may be wrong but it looks like the teaser is composed of mostly new shots (or I guess cut shots). Either way, I’m interested in seeing this alternate take on Justice League. I’m all for what ifs, so it’s cool to see one come to life like this.

During the DC FanDome panel, Snyder revealed that the movie will be split “in four parts, one hour each” and then bundled “together at the end, so you can watch it as a single film if that’s the way you want to experience it.” Snyder also said that there were talks about releasing the film outside of the U.S. where HBO Max doesn’t exist (right now at least).

Plot Synopsis:

In Zack Snyder’s Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes – Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, and The Flash – it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League begins streaming sometime in 2021 on HBO Max.
