Power Rankings: Favorite Non-Villain Characters From Horror Movies

The SAW Power Rankings is our weekly ranking of a certain movie-related topic. Please feel free to comment on our rankings and provide a list of your own in the comments below.

I am one of those weirdos that usually is rooting for the villain or monster to win and destroy all the dumb fools in horror movies. However, there are times when a character, that isn’t the villain of the movie, rises up for us to fall in love with and cheer along during their fight against the forces of evil. Or they are just extremely demented and hot. (Looking at you Trash. Sexy like a chocolate-covered strawberry.) A lot of times these characters are people who are willing to fight the darkness and save as many people as they can. Sometimes, they are just in a fight for survival and have to gain confidence along the way or die. Others are simply there to be lovable and give us some comedic relief during all the horror.

Usually, we find something that we can connect within these characters as they try to survive and this makes them memorable as we pull for them to win against this nightmare they are going through. So we here at SAW decided to list our favorite non-villain characters from horror and we would like to hear some of your choices down in the comments. Enjoy!
