‘Priscilla’ Trailer: Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi Are The Presleys

A24 has released an official trailer for Priscilla, an upcoming biographical drama film based on the 1985 memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley, who serves as an executive producer. Let’s take a look.

Well, if we got an Elvis Presley-focused biopic last year, it seems fitting to get one this year from the perspective of his wife, Priscilla.

The upcoming film stars Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla Presley and Jacob Elordi as Elvis Presley. Dagmara Domińczyk, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll, Luke Humphrey, Dan Beirne, Olivia-Mai Barrett, Dan Abramovici, R Austin Ball, and Evan Annisette round out the ensemble cast.

Plot Synopsis:

When teenage Priscilla Beaulieu meets Elvis Presley at a party, the man who is already a meteoric rock-and-roll superstar becomes someone entirely unexpected in private moments: a thrilling crush, an ally in loneliness, a gentle best friend. Through Priscilla’s eyes, Sofia Coppola tells the unseen side of a great American myth in Elvis and Priscilla’s long courtship and turbulent marriage, from a German army base to his dream-world estate at Graceland, in this deeply felt and ravishingly detailed portrait of love, fantasy, and fame.

Written, directed, and co-produced by Sofia Coppola, Priscilla opens in theaters on November 3, 2023.
