This game of cat and mouse follows a young bride (Samara Weaving) as she accompanies her new groom’s (Mark O’Brien) rich, eccentric family (played by Adam Brody, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell) in a time-honored ritual that turns into a deadly game of hunt the bride.
The trailer gives us a sense of a lot Looking like a mash-up of You’re Next and Clue, the trailer gives us a sense of a lot of blood shed combined with some dark comedy that could be a fun ride. Weaving (The Babysitter, Mayhem) seems to be an up and coming star in the genre who has charisma and a great look.
The film will be released by Fox Searchlight on August 23, 2019.
