‘Sick’ Trailer: Who Keeps Asking for All These Pandemic-Set Horror Films?

Peacock has released an official trailer for Sick, an upcoming slasher film set during the COVID-19 pandemic. Let’s take a look.

Why does Hollywood keep thinking we want to see films depicting the COVID-19 pandemic? I watch movies to escape reality not relive it! Honestly, the only silver lining I see with this film is that it was co-written by Kevin Williamson, who created Scream. That might be enough to get me to check out Sick, but I’ll probably still pass.

Sick stars Gideon Adlon (Blockers), Bethlehem Million (And Just Like That…), Marc Menchaca (Ozark), and Jane Adams (Hacks).

Plot Synopsis:

As the pandemic steadily brings the world to a halt, Parker and her best friend Miri decide to quarantine at the family lake house aloneā€”or so they think.

Directed by John Hyams from a screenplay written by Williamson and Katelyn Crabb, Sick begins streaming on Peacock on January 13, 2023.
