Neon has released an official trailer for Spencer, an upcoming biographical feature focusing on the later years of the marriage of Diana, Princess of Wales and Charles, Prince of Wales. Kristen Stewart and Jack Farthing portray the royal couple.
I’m looking forward to this one. If anything, it will prove to be a nice companion piece to The Crown seasons 3 and 4.
In addition to Stewart and Farthing, Timothy Spall, Sean Harris, and Sally Hawkins also star.
Plot Synopsis:
The marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles has long since grown cold. Though rumors of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game. But this year, things will be profoundly different. SPENCER is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.
Spencer hits theaters November 5, 2021.
