Spider-Man in the MCU

Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man’s new suit is here and it’s beautiful!

Sony and Marvel Studios have unveiled the new Spider-Man suit, which features raised webbing and looks far more comic-accurate (and homemade) than his previous Stark-funded attire. The suit will make its debut in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which began filming on August 1 in Glasgow, Scotland, with Destin Daniel Cretton in the director’s chair.

Sony teased the “brand new” suit yesterday on social media, which can be viewed below:

As for the new suit, here it is in all its glory:

Who Is in Spider-Man: Brand New Day?

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man for the seventh time in Brand New Day, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon also returning as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson and Ned Leeds, respectively. The trio will be joined by three further Marvel Cinematic Universe alums — Mark Ruffalo‘s Bruce Banner/Hulk, Michael Mando‘s Mac Gargan/Scorpion, and Jon Bernthal‘s Frank Castle/Punisher — as well as two newcomers, Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas.

Plot details remain under wraps for Spider-Man 4, although we know the movie is going to pick up a few years after the events of 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, which saw Peter Parker finally becoming the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man we all know (and prefer) after Doctor Strange erased everyone’s memories of the young hero to protect the multiverse. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has also teased a grounded, street level story for Brand New Day, which is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.
