‘Superintelligence’ Trailer: Oh Look, Another Melissa McCarthy Comedy

Oh, you thought maybe we were finished with Melissa McCarthy comedies? Think again! HBO Max has released an official trailer for Superintelligence.

Well, that’s definitely a movie.

Honestly, it doesn’t look that bad. I’m not sure if that’s saying much because it still looks like something I wouldn’t watch. Let HBO Max be thankful they’re getting Wonder Woman 1984 for Christmas.

Plot Synopsis:

An all-powerful Superintelligence (James Corden) chooses to study the most average person on Earth, “Carol Peters” (Melissa McCarthy), the fate of the world hangs in the balance. As the A.I. decides to enslave, save or destroy humanity, it’s up to Carol to prove that people are worth saving.

Superintelligence begins streaming November 26, 2020 on HBO Max.
