‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ Trailer: Netflix Revives a Horror Icon in 2022

At the Comic Con Experience this weekend, Netflix screened an official trailer for Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The upcoming film will be a direct sequel to the original The Texas Chain Saw Massacre and will ignore the events of the previous sequels/continuity. Let’s take a look.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre stars Nell Hudson, Elsie Fisher, Jacob Latimore, Moe Dunford, Mark Burnham, Alice Krige, Sarah Yarkin, Jessica Allain, Sam Douglas, William Hope, Jolyon Coy, and Olwen Fouéré.

Plot Synopsis:

The movie takes place years after the shocking events of the original, in a setting where Leatherface hasn’t been seen or heard from since. The film seeks to pick up where the Hooper and Kim Henkel film initially left off, bringing the most notorious horror franchise back to life in the same bold and provocative manner that it was first introduced to the world.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre begins streaming February 18, 2022 on Netflix.
