The 1st Annual ScreenAge Wasteland Awards Nominees: ‘The Lighthouse’, ‘Marriage Story’, and ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ Lead the Pack

The nominees for the 1st Annual ScreenAge Wasteland Awards have been announced!

If you thought there were already too many award shows that’s too bad because here’s another one. The team behind SAW submitted nominees for the best of film in 2019. A lot of films and performances were submitted, but at the end of the day there can only be 5 nominees per category (or 8 for Best Picture and Best Scene).

It’s a three-way tie for most nominations. The Lighthouse, Marriage Story and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood lead the pack with 6 nominations a piece. Next is Parasite and Knives Out with 5, and The Farewell, The Irishman, Uncut Gems and 1917 with 4.

Avengers: Endgame, Dolemite Is My Name, Little Women and Midsommar have 3 nominations each. Jojo Rabbit, Joker and Us finish the multiple nominated films with 2 each.
