The ‘Color Out of Space’ Trailer is Here to Melt Some Faces

Richard Stanley (Hardware, Dust Devil) is back next year with SpectreVision’s Color Out of Space, an adaptation of H.P. Lovecraft‘s short story with Nicolas Cage in the leading role.

Lovecraft, Richard Stanley, and Nic f’n Cage! What more could you want?! And yes that was Tommy Chong, man. There isn’t really much else to say. This looks like a weird and mind-melting good time and I can not wait for it. Expect to see big SFX sequences including some gnarly body-horror stuff.

The cast also includes Joely Richardson, Madeleine Arthur, Brendan Meyer, Julian Hilliard, Elliot Knight with Q’Orianka Kilcher and Tommy Chong.

Plot Synopsis:

After a meteorite lands in the front yard of their farm, Nathan Gardner and his family find themselves battling a mutant extraterrestrial organism as it infects their minds and bodies, transforming their quiet rural life into a living nightmare.

 

Color Out of Space hits theaters on January 24, 2020.
