Meet the Monster You Can’t See in ‘The Invisible Man’ Trailer

Elisabeth Moss stars in Universal, Blumhouse and director Leigh Whannell‘s (Saw, Insidious, UpgradeThe Invisible Man, a new take on the classic horror film arriving next year.

The trailer offers up a pretty revealing look at The Invisible Man by confirming that Cecilia’s brilliant and wealthy ex fakes his death, of course, turns himself invisible and tortures her to the point where she appears to be going insane.

I don’t know how I feel about this yet. The focus seems to be on Elizabeth Moss’s character and not the invisible man. That doesn’t appeal to me at the moment as this seems to be Sleeping with the Enemy but you can’t see the monster with the pornstache. Although, it could be an interesting take on the Universal monster that at least looks really good. Moss is an excellent actress and is capable of carrying the film and making it interesting.

Plot Synopsis:

When Cecilia’s abusive ex takes his own life and leaves her fortune, she suspects his death was a hoax. As a series of coincidences turn lethal, Cecilia’s works to prove that she is being hunted by someone nobody can see.

The Invisible Man is set to not be seen in theaters on February 20, 2020. I’ll see myself out.

What do you guys think of how this Universal monster reboot is looking so far?
