New ‘The Flash’ Trailer Gives Michael Keaton the Chance to Get Nuts

Warner Bros. has released a new official trailer for The Flash. Let’s take a look.

Real talk: I think The Flash is going to end up being the best DC Extended Universe movie. At the very least, it will be more fun than Wonder Woman, which I consider the current holder of Best DCEU Movie. I honestly believe that DC fans will walk out of The Flash wanting to see more of the DCEU and none of James Gunn’s upcoming DCU. Maybe I’ll be wrong, but I find it hilarious that just when it looks like DC is finally getting its shit together, they opt for a reboot. Never stop never stopping, DC.

Ezra Miller leads The Flash as Barry Allen / The Flash, with Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Ron Livingston as Henry Allen, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Michael Shannon as General Zod.

Plot Synopsis:

Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Super Heroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?

The Flash opens in theaters on June 16, 2023.
