A24 has released an official trailer for The Green Knight, an upcoming fantasy film based on the Arthurian story of Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. The new trailer comes a little over a year since the first teaser was released. Let’s take a look and see if we’re still stoked to see this.
Oh yes, this looks like it will be really good. I read Sir Gawain and the Green Knight probably a couple years ago, so I’m interested to see how A24 and director David Lowery adapted the material.
Dev Patel plays Sir Gawain, and leads a cast that includes Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sarita Choudhury, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Barry Keoghan, and Ralph Ineson.
Plot Synopsis:
The Green Knight hits theaters July 30, 2021.
