The Long Delayed ‘The New Mutants’ Second Trailer is Finally Here

Over two years after the first trailer for The New Mutants was released, Disney owned 20th Century Fox has finally released an all new look at the film.

This new look at mutants outside of the X-Men world has been plagued by delays since the first trailer premiered. The Josh Boone’s New Mutants was originally going to open April 13, 2018 before it first got pushed to February 22, 2019. Then the film was moved back again to August 2, 2019 because of the Disney/Fox merger. But finally we have an official release date.

I’m still not sure how I feel about this. Especially now that I hear all the characters weird accents. I don’t know much about The New Mutants from the comics to begin with, but I’m sure I’ll still see this at some point. I was hoping they’s push this one R since it looks to be scary. But unfortunately it will be PG-13.

Plot Synopsis:

Five young mutants, just discovering their abilities while held in a secret facility against their will, fight to escape their past sins and save themselves.

The New Mutants hits theaters April 3, 2020.
