Netflix has released a trailer and first clips for season 2 of The Witcher. Additionally, the streamer has renewed the fantasy series for a third season. Let’s take a look.
I heard mixed things about the first season of The Witcher which led me to not check it out. I’d love to hear if people are actually interested in the upcoming season and its live-action prequel The Witcher: Blood Origin and the animated feature The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf.
The Witcher stars Henry Cavill. Season 2 will also star Kim Bodnia, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey among others.
Plot Synopsis:
Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.
The Witcher season 2 begins streaming December 17, 2021 on Netflix.
