‘Thirteen Lives’ Trailer: Based on the True Story of the World’s Greatest Rescue Mission

Prime Video has released an official trailer for Thirteen Lives, an upcoming biographical survival film chronicling the events of the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue. Let’s take a look.

I’m really looking forward to seeing this. I think we all remember following this news story back in 2018 and collectively being relieved when they successfully rescued the young soccer team. With Ron Howard behind the camera and a cast that includes Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell and Joel Edgerton, Thirteen Lives will definitely be a film you’ll want to see in theaters.

Plot Synopsis:

In the true story of Thirteen Lives, twelve boys and the coach of a Thai soccer team explore the Tham Luang cave when an unexpected rainstorm traps them in a chamber inside the mountain. Entombed behind a maze of flooded cave tunnels, they face impossible odds. A team of world-class divers navigate through miles of dangerous cave networks to discover that finding the boys is only the beginning.

Thirteen Lives opens in theaters on July 29, 2022. The film will begin streaming on Prime Video on August 5, 2022.
