Netflix has released an official trailer for Thunder Force. Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer star as estranged childhood friends who become superheroes.
Aww man, I can’t believe this is going to come out just after we wrapped up out Superhero Theme Month! This would have surely taken the top spot on our 50 Greatest Superhero Movies list, right?
All in all, I think this looks like a typical Netflix film that isn’t trying to win any awards. It’ll be passable for the majority of subscribers, but for the few that actually seek out good content on the streaming service it’s not exactly what I would call quality content.
And what the hell is Jason Bateman doing in this?! You deserve so much better! Heck, so do Spencer and McCarthy. Why are you wasting your acting talents on this terrible looking comedy?
