From the creators of Night of the Lists comes another movie podcast. Sailor and Kane review classic movies and recast the main characters with today’s actors. Before one of you lumps complains, we are not advocating for these movies to be remade but simply discussing movies we love with actors and directors we want to talk about so more people can discover them. We may make changes to the original film to either update it or to have it match our new vision.
We do have some rules. If Bill Paxton is in the movie, no matter how small the role, he will be discussed. We also have the “Tom Hardy Rule” which means we are only allowed to pick an actor or director once every 12 episodes. Mainly so Kane doesn’t use Kristen Stewart for every single movie.
Here’s a sample of some movies we will discuss and recast in upcoming episodes: Heat (1995), Fight Club (1999), The Running Man (1987), 9 to 5 (1980), and many more classics. The first episode will be dropping in two weeks!
