Disney has released an official trailer for Tron: Ares, a standalone sequel to 2010’s Tron: Legacy. Let’s take a look.
Jared Leto leads the cast of the sci-fi sequel as the titular Ares, with Greta Lee as Eve Kim, Evan Peters as Julian Dillinger, and Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn, reprising his role from the previous films. Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan, Gillian Anderson, and Sarah Desjardins also star in Tron: Ares, with original music by Nine Inch Nails.
Plot Synopsis:
Tron: Ares follows a highly sophisticated program, Ares, who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.
Directed by Joachim Rønning, Tron: Ares opens in theaters on October 10, 2025.
