‘Voyagers’ Trailer: What Does It Feel Like?

Lionsgate has released an official trailer for Voyagers, an upcoming science-fiction movie starring Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp, and Colin Farrell.

We’ve seen the “drugged humans begin to break free from control” sort of sci-fi movie countless times before. Although, I don’t think they’ve ever been drugged to stay virgins (correct me if I’m wrong). The trailer makes it look like the whole movie will be about the young adults awakening from their blue drink haze and becoming extremely horny. I’m not sure if there’s enough there that will warrant a whole film, so let’s hope there’s some other secret agenda they are going to have to stop.

Plot Synopsis:

With the future of the human race at stake, a group of young men and women, bred for intelligence and obedience, embark on an expedition to colonize a distant planet. But when they uncover disturbing secrets about the mission, they defy their training and begin to explore their most primitive natures. As life on the ship descends into chaos, they’re consumed by fear, lust, and the insatiable hunger for power.

Voyagers hits theaters April 9, 2021.
