MOVIES AND SHOWS WATCHED THIS WEEK

Cop Land (1997) – I hadn’t seen this in YEARS. It’s got such a damn good cast, I forgot about half the people who were in this. It was such a great role for Stallone at that time and I still really enjoyed it as a whole. It made me miss NJ a bit too. 4.25/5

A Clockwork Orange (1971) – Another one I hadn’t seen in years. I watched this in high school and immediately watched it again as soon as I was done, but never bothered with it since. Man, it’s just so gratuitous and insane. And damn is it a good looking film 50 years later. 4.5/5

You should buy some SAW A Clockwork Orange inspired merch 😛

The New York Hardcore Chronicles Film (2017) – An interesting look at the early 80s hardcore punk scene in NY. I was too young to be a part of all this but it sure looked like fun. It’s always been kinda funny to me what is considered hardcore now compared to back then. 4/5

Ted Lasso (2020) – I don’t really care for soccer (football outside the U.S.) so I didn’t really have much of a reason to want to watch this. But I finally did and I knocked out all 10 episodes in one day. This show is like Major League and Friday Night Lights rolled into one. It’s super funny and has A TON of heart to it. Can’t wait for Season 2. 5/5

Weekend Wasteland launches in 3, 2, 1…

My friends band used a sample of A Clockwork Orange on a song they did for a compilation record back in the day.
