WHAT I WATCHED THIS WEEK
Lost (2004 – 2010) – Been a busy week and I only got through a handful more episodes of this and I’m still in awe of how great season one is. 4.5/5
Lolla: The Story of Lollapalooza (2024) – A three part doc on the history of Lollapalooza. The first two eps are great because of it focusing on the first few years. Episode three condenses the end and rebirth of the festival and glosses over the next 20 years quickly. I do wish Paramount+ had an MTV Rewind channel and just replayed full days of old airings similar to how SiriusXM replays old Casey Kasem Top 40s. 3.5/5
Life (2017) – I remember watching this when it first came out and thought it was pretty good. But honestly over the years I couldn’t remember much about it. In all honesty, it’s a solid Alien knockoff set in current times that has some real world implications if that sentient alien does find its way to Earth. the cast and their performances are great. I also vaguely remember thinking it would be cool if this was somehow a possible backdoor Venom introduction since it was Sony and all. But it’s definitely not after remembering what the creature looks like in this. 3.25/5
