Weekend Fallout: ‘No Time to Die’

The Weekend Fallout is an unsafe place to discuss most things in the reel and real world.

Let us know what you have been watching recently on the big and small screen. Excited about any upcoming releases? Doing anything fun this weekend? Simply sitting around in your underwear eating dang quesadillas while watching movies and endlessly scrolling through social media? Let us know below!

Here are some articles from this past week that we encourage you to check out and jump in (or start) the conversation.

Do you remember THAT SCENE from Let The Right One In?

How many of the best horror movies from 90s have you seen? It’s probably not more than Kane.

Hear Kane and Sailor totally recast The Devil’s Rejects. And then mock/praise them in the comments.

Movie: Pet Sematary 2 (1992)

“When his mother, Renee, dies, young Jeff Matthews moves back to his hometown with his father, Chase. Jeff grows friendly with Drew Gilbert at school, who tells him about the Indian burial grounds that bring people and animals back to life, which led to the deaths of the Creed family who used to live in town. Desperately missing his mom, Jeff ignores warnings and buries her corpse, only to have her return in deadly zombie form.”

How To Watch This Film: DVD/Blu-ray, Netflix, HBO GO, iTunes, Amazon, YouTube, Pluto TV or however you can muster it.

Friday the 13th (2009) – A really solid remake for the most part. One I never thought we really needed but it works for the most part. Too bad they never got to make any follow ups. 3.5/5

Ginger Snaps (2000) – I’ve been hearing about this one for 2 decades. So I finally gave it a watch. It’s pretty damn well done for a low budget Canadian horror flick. 3.75/5

The Void (2016) – A Canadian Lovecraftian horror flick that just gets right into things. It’s completely bizarre and surreal. So if you are into that kinda stuff this is right up your alley. It’s visually striking but ultimately did nothing for me. 3/5
