MOVIES AND SHOWS WATCHED THIS WEEK
Corvette Sumer (1978) – It’s nothing special, but not nearly as bad as I remembered. It is a fun little time capsule of the 70s to just sit back and relax to. And it’s cool to see Mark Hamill in something other than Star Wars. And it’s Annie Potts’ first movie! 3/5
Lightyear (2022) – It’s not a bad movie, so I’m not sure why it bombed. But it is a totally unnecessary movie in the big scheme of things. And damn does it look good. 3.75/5
Top Gun: Maverick (2022) – A great improvement over the original if you ask me. Even if this was ALMOST a remake of that film, it did a really good job of sucking you in. The soundtrack was solid until the football scene and that Gaga song at the end was bad. I also liked that they were basically practicing the Death Star trench run the whole film too. And I thought they might go all Iron Eagle at the end. 4.25/5
