MOVIES AND SHOWS WATCHED THIS WEEK
Malibu High (1979) – Girl gets dumped by her boyfriend, her grades begin to fall, she becomes a prostitute and then a hitwoman. It’s a completely ridiculous premise and not nearly as good as it sounds. But hey, there’s nudity … and that is average at best. The poster for the movie is far better than the movie itself. 1/5
Don’t Breathe 2 (2021) – The first one was a pretty solid flick but the trailer for this one didn’t really sell me at first. Wasn’t sure how they seemed to make him a “good guy” all of a sudden. Ultimately I decided to give it whirl anyway. there is more to the story than the trailer lets on. 3.5/5
NYC Epicenters 9/11-> 2021½ (2021) – The third episode dealt with 9/11 and no matter how many times I see that footage I get all choked up. My mom worked at the WTC and I moved her to Arizona a week before it all went down. There was a lot in there about the boat evacuations that I never knew. They saved more people than Dunkirk. 3.7/5
