WHAT I WATCHED THIS WEEK

Slow Horses (2022 – Present) A British spy thriller series based on the Slough House series of novels by Mick Herron that follows a dysfunctional team of MI5 agents. They’ve all been stationed at Slough House because they’ve screwed up majorly. Gary Oldman “leads” the team, but ultimately doesn’t care until they get sucked into a conspiracy that sets them up. 4/5

An Unfinished Life (2005) – A solid little drama about a story of a crotchety old rancher who’s son died in a car accident and suddenly has to reconcile his relationship with his struggling daughter-in-law who shows up unexpectedly at his ranch with a grand daughter he’s never met. She asks to stay with him and his disabled best friend and neighbor, who was mauled by a bear the year before.
