20th Century Studios has released an official teaser trailer for West Side Story. Director Steven Spielberg is behind the camera checking off “Make a musical” from his directing bucket list. Let’s see how he did.
I really don’t know what to make of this off that teaser. I haven’t seen the original West Side Story to really get a feel of what to expect, but this looks sort of boring. Maybe that’ll change when we get a full-length trailer, but as of right now I don’t know if I’ll be seeing this.
Plot Synopsis:
West Side Story explores young love and tensions between rival gangs the Jets and the Sharks on the streets of 1957 New York.
West Side Story hits theaters December 10, 2021.
