‘Y: The Last Man’ Trailer: The Adaptation of the Acclaimed Series is Almost Here

FX has released an official teaser trailer for Y: The Last Man, based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series of the same name by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. Let’s take a look.

I honestly thought this was never going to come out. I think I actually this had been cancelled. It was plagued with so many behind-the-scenes casting and production issues that I thought someone finally pulled the plug.

But I guess not, because here we have the first teaser trailer. It’s heavy on statistics and light on actual footage! Let’s see this pet CGI monkey already!

Plot Synopsis:

Based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.

Y: The Last Man premieres September 13, 2021 on FX on Hulu.
