FX has released an official trailer for Y: The Last Man season 1. The upcoming science-fiction series is an adaptation of the popular comic series by writer Brian K. Vaughan and illustrator Pia Guerra.
Huh, looks better than I thought it would. I might actually have to check this out now. I’ve never read the comics before, so if they’re worth a read, let me know down in the comments please!
Ben Schnetzer leads the series as Yorick while the rest of the cast includes Diane Lane, Ashley Romans, and Olivia Thirlby.
Plot Synopsis:
Based on DC Comics’ acclaimed series by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, Y: The Last Man traverses a post-apocalyptic world in which a cataclysmic event decimates every mammal with a Y chromosome but for one cisgender man and his pet monkey. The series follows the survivors in this new world as they struggle with their efforts to restore what was lost and the opportunity to build something better.
Y: The Last Man premieres September 13, 2021 on FX on Hulu.
