Alejandro G. Iñàrritu has found Tom Cruise‘s co-stars for his new untitled movie at Warner Bros. and Legendary Entertainment.
According to Deadline, John Goodman (The Conners), Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a Fall), Michael Stuhlbarg (Doctor Strange), Sophie Wilde (Talk to Me), and Jesse Plemons (Game Night) have signed on for the untitled movie, while Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal) is in final negotiations to join the cast.
Cruise’s involvement in Iñàrritu’s return to English-language filmmaking was first reported back in February. While plot details remain under wraps, Deadline states that the movie will reportedly center “on the most powerful man in the world, who embarks on a frantic mission to prove he is humanity’s savior before the disaster he’s unleashed destroys everything.” Iñàrritu co-wrote the screenplay with Sabina Berman, Alexander Dinelaris, and Nicolas Giacobone.
