‘Antebellum’ Trailer: What If Your Past Mixed With Your Future?

Lionsgate has just released a new trailer for Antebellum, a new horror film from the producers of Get Out and Us.

That might be the shortest official trailer I have ever watched. Yet, in 42 seconds I’m hooked. I want to know about what the hell is going on here. The synopsis fills in some gaps and teases a story that might involve time-travel or alternate realities. I need to know more and that just might mean buying a movie ticket next month.

Plot Synopsis:

Successful author Veronica Henley (Janelle Monáe) finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late. ANTEBELLUM is a terrifying new thriller from the producer of the acclaimed films GET OUT and US, and groundbreaking directors Gerard Bush and Christoper Renz (Bush+Renz) – an exciting new voice in filmmaking.

Antebellum hits theaters April 24, 2020.
