‘Bros’ Trailer: A Romantic Comedy That Gives You All the Feels

Universal Pictures has released an official trailer for Bros, an upcoming film that is the first gay romantic comedy from a major studio. Let’s watch the trailer and see if the film will live up to the high standards people will surely expect from it.

Okay, interesting. So is Billy Eichner’s character in the film also writing a gay rom-com for a studio or was that just a voiceover for the trailer to let audiences know why this film exists? I really don’t know, but this looks like it could be funny. I’m not the biggest Eichner guy when he’s acting in films and on TV, but I do enjoy his Billy on the Street interviews. Maybe I’ll give this a shot, but I’ll need another trailer before I make the final decision.

Plot Synopsis:

This fall, Universal Pictures proudly presents the first romantic comedy from a major studio about two gay men maybe, possibly, probably, stumbling towards love. Maybe. They’re both very busy.

From the ferocious comic mind of Billy Eichner (Billy on the Street) and the hitmaking brilliance of filmmakers Nicholas Stoller (the Neighbors films) and Judd Apatow (Trainwreck), comes Bros, a smart, swoony and heartfelt comedy about how hard it is to find another tolerable human being to go through life with.

Bros opens in theaters on September 30, 2022.
